Content Management System (CMS)

Dynamic websites that are easy to modify and maintain are often based on a CMS platform. Some of the popular ones are Drupal, Joomla and Wordpress. Ztrive can help set up those if needed.

Most of the time we use our own CMS, which gives us full control and includes everything we need to create a modern site, including better Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and web analytics capabilities.

Our CMS is not for sale but included for those that we do projects with. It is basically what we think is a best practice development environment using latest ASP.net, C# and SQL Server, and some very useful components, such as URL rewriters.

For any site we deliver you get an admin module where you can manage and update all pages, images, users, scripts, stylesheets, and so on. And any action you do in the admin module gets logged and visible in an audit trail, so that you can always go back to an old version of a page if you are not satisfied with some change you or any other admin user did.

It is developed with SEO in mind so that all URLs are fully configurable, and you can set Page Titles, Meta Description, etc. any way you like. In case you need to change the structure, or you have old pages indexed in the search engines, the admin interface lets you easily set up permanent (301) redirects to help both users and search engine robots find the right pages, and avoid any penalties and potential. The whole site always gets indexed, via both HTML and XML sitemaps, and you can choose what pages are visible in the dynamic navigation menu, for instance if you want to create SEO or PPC landing pages that may not make sense to have on the main site.

Our CMS also make it very easy to integrate with social media, blogs and other external sites, since you consume, merge and publish feeds in a number of ways. Other API formats like XML REST, SOAP Web Services, JSON are also prepared for.

Google Analytics is great to analyze trends and behaviour, traffic sources, most accessed content, etc. But sometimes you want to know what visitor clicked exactly what link on a specific page and time, and with Ztrive's CMS you can, we track every pageview, referal URL, IP and action.
